Strat for phase 1
Couple of points:
1) it's ideal to keep 3 stacks on confuse up at all times. Sometimes I can get 3 stacks before DN moves and two ID off before he moves.
2) Always call C3PO (except in the rare case someone is really low and drain is coming)
3) Only use C3PO mass assist if you need your team to get some TM OR you have gone several times between a DN turn and DN is about to go anyway.
4) I always try to put smokescreen on bb8 if possible. On special occasions I wont. Couple reasons for this: keeping buffs on R2 helps the whole team and Bb8 can heal up R2.
5) It's ideal to have R2 soak up the annialate. Even better if he does 2 of them. Bb8 then JTR are good alternatives.
6) Try to avoid using Finn's heal. During DNs first turn is one of the only times I use it to lower TM.
7) This is super basic, but super important: You will generally only land debuffs when DN hasn't been hit yet. The more he is hit, the higher his tenacity. This is why I try to refresh confuse after each DN turn. The other part to this is the more you hit him, the faster he goes. So it's ideal to only hit him with big hits.
8) expose is absolutely your best friend. If I'm in the situation where I could use smokescreen or burning, I'll almost always do burning if he doesn't have expose. Not being able to keep expose up can make a DN turn go WAY to fast.
9) Mind tricks: I will almost always use this on DN when it's up. It's crazy important to apply mind tricks right after a DN turn. This is one of the only times you will be successful getting speed down. Having this debuff the whole run will increase damage significantly.
10) I don't know if there are great examples in my run, but sometimes I wait to use an ID if Finn is about to go. Getting back to back turns with him is awesome.
