Are the spin off movies cancelled? Short answer: no. Long answer: kind of. With the less than stellar performance of Solo: A Star Wars Story at the box office and movie sales of The Last Jedi being similarly disappointing, the powers that be have decided to pull back on their overly ambitious goals of one Star Wars movie a year. But that doesn't mean that the spin off films have been cancelled. Just the opposite.
