I took in GBA with my sisters, and ended up losing him early. Daka wasn't able to revive him after multiple attempts, but it turns out you don't really need him to soothe the Acklay. As long as you have enough survivability in the team, you'll pull through fine. Daka zeta is recommended. Keep healing all chances you get. Talia could be useful to cleanse debuffs like expose and daze.
